La habitación olía feo. Feo el decorado. No tenía muchos outlets para cargar los electrónicos. Al hacer el check in estuvimos esperando nos abran por largo rato y estábamos dentro del horario de check in. Cuando nos fuimos dejamos la tarjeta de la habitación donde nos indicaron. No había personal que te atendiera. La escalera muy angosta para subir con las valijas.

Cheap and well located for the area. Interesting historic building on the outside. Friendly staff. Tired and dated decor with a horrible smell in the stairway. Constant loud humming from bathroom. Harsh lighting in bedroom and bathroom with no bedside lamp and only 1 bedside table. Room very clean, though carpets looked stained around the edges.

Good location and large carpark, easy check in and very close to centre, breakfast available for an additional fee, basic room and ok for a few nights, noisy road so not good for light sleepers and I did need to wear ear plugs, but overall ok for a weekend break as so close to all the bars and restaurants.

Used to stay regularly at the George and dragon before it closed.. was really pleased when it reopened.. lovely clean rooms great location easy check in.. would recommend 😃

This is an alcohol free pub, which meant no rowdy people or noise. The food all has an Asian twist which worked well. Staff all courteous and helpful. Rooms were nice and warm. Will definately be coming here again.
I did try adding pics of the outside and the inside, but it just said they were invalid. Beautiful old building and the downstairs has a vast beautiful area with moulded ceiling and three Tudor style fire places.

Staff welcoming and nothing was too much trouble! Really liked the parking as we could keep our car parked until 3pm on the day we were leaving. Which to me was a great advantage. The rooms could certainly do with a revamp and some cosy furnishings & lamps. On the whole a good stay for us!

Hotel didn’t match the photo and description on the website, was rundown and wasn’t very clean so we left and booked another hotel close by

I wasn’t going to give a review, but keep getting emails to leave one. Rooms are filthy. Beds didn’t even look like they’d been changed. The throw had a very dubious stain on it Breakfast was cold, no bacon or proper sausage. Restaurant toilet I don’t think has ever seen bleach. I’ve seen cleaner work site toilets. All I can say, it’s a good job it was a lads weekend away and not a weekend away with my wife
