「The river view was nice, but room hasn't been updated since the mid-90's. Everything was worn and shabby. The front door hits the bathroom door, and the sink is in the entryway closet area. The noise from the room above is noticeable. There was a pile of construction materials in front of our door we had to step around.
That said, the location near the entrance to Great Smokies was good, so this was a decent stopover for one night.」

「We checked in late and was suppose to meet friends at 7:30 the next morning. We got up to shower and there was not 1 towel or washcloth anywhere in the room. The office did not open until 10:00 so no shower that morning! The staff was extremely rude. We had rented for 1 night. We checked in around 8:00 that afternoon. We told them that we might want to add another night. WE was told we better go ahead or it would be booked. We did. Then during the night we got a call of a death that we...

「Long View is top of my list of places to stay for all time. We stayed for two nights as an entry way to the Smokey Mountains, and it more than exceeded our expectations.
Amazing views from the expansive deck with fireplaces, incredible design and planning went into the structure - a credit to the owner & local builders. Comfy beds and very welcoming staff. Breakfast is enough of a reason to return!」
