The pics online did not match the actual look. The place looks old and has a musty smell. It comes with a small reception and the staff were helpful. We went up to our room, it looked clean but the bed felt like someone had slept in those sheets before us as it did not feel fresh, found hair on the bed and the sheets were yellow looking as if it was reused. I would say this has more of a motel feel than a hotel We booked for 3 days but checked out on the same day as it wasn't up to our expectations.

My experience at The Madras Grand exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, and their attention to detail was impressive. My room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and offered all the conveniences I needed for a relaxed and productive stay. One of the highlights was the food. They were fresh and delicious. The hotel also deserves special mention for its efficient housekeeping, prompt room service, and courteous front-desk team. Everyone—from the doorman to the manager—treated is with sincere hospitality. I’d visit them again.

This was a very nice hotel with a great breakfast! The room was clean and spacious for our family of 4. Service was great! Only downside was the bathroom. Bathroom floor became wet and flooded when you took a shower . Otherwise I would definitely go back again and recommend it

The location of the hotel was good and staff were polite.The bed & room was clean. we only had the chance to dine at the restaurant on the last day as it was rather small and could only fit a certain number of people at each time. The hotel staff recommended restaurant nearby, matsya which had a very nice spread of veg food.There is some odour at the walkway and bathroom, maybe the management can fix that in the future. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

The staff were super helpful and kind in every regard! Whenever we needed to call a taxi, someone at reception kindly called an Uber/OLA cab for us. When the A/C went out, someone came promptly to reset it. Food (Indian cuisine with few western options) was good and the kitchen/wait staff were efficient, polite and answered all our questions about the dishes with which we were unfamiliar.
