If you are cycling around Taiwan and looking for a hostel in Checheng then this is a great option. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly hosts, comfy beds, AC, indoor parking for bicycles and free laundry. Recommended!

ボロくても住めば都
田舎のドーミトリは、「こういうもの」と割り切れば、それなりに居心地は良い。
商売のかたわらドーミトリを営んでいて、宿の人に英語は通じない。設備は老朽化しており、シャワーやトイレは「なんとか使える」程度。全自動の洗濯機と洗剤、中庭に洗った衣類を自由に干せるのは、自分のような自転車乗りにはありがたい。車城には宿泊施設が少ないので選択肢があまりないこと、自転車旅(環島)のコース上にあり、場所が良いのでここを選択した。
