「We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up.」

「We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this charming motel. The owner is very responsive to needs and the room was great. Nicely decorated, very convenient, lots of parking, near to many attractions in the area. The bed was comfortable, the room is air conditioned and very nice.」

「The patio overlooked the Cheybogan River. with was peaceful and relaxing. Not your cookie-cutter view or atmosphere. It was what to expect on a northern Michigan trip and what we wanted.」

「This place deserved five stars not because it was like the Ritz-Carlton, but rather because it delivered what it promised. The room was spacious and clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful; the price was reasonable; the breakfast was good; and the place was in a convenient location. If I was in that area again, or driving through it, I would certainly stay again. 」

「We were so excited to stay at the Mission Point and it met every expectation and more. From the staff to the movie theater-adorable and brought back a moment in history. It was beautifully maintained, and walking into the massive lobby with the log beamed ceilings was breathtaking. Come and share this experience. You won’t be disappointed. 」

「Overall, We were pleased. However, we most likely will not stay there again. Next door to the property is a residence that houses, what looks to be employees of the island. There was incredible LOUD, shouting from the residence two nights in a row. This noise of TALKING, SHOUTING, YELLING, AND LAUGHING went on consistently for over two hrs each night. This occurred from 2:00AM, on each night. Awful!!」

「Excellent location on the quieter end of town. Walking distance to everything. Super clean, friendly staff and the pool and hot tub are amazing. 」

「This is and extraordinary property with so much to do. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and the grounds are immaculate, we can't wait to go back next year and stay on the island and at Stonecliffe. It was fun for the entire family and worth every penny. 」
