We've pulled together all the info you need to make your flight a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and having a ball in Todi in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you bring the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh change of clothes and something to read. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your phone and charger, your medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your goal here is to be as comfortable as you can. Choose a pair of slip-on shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to bring a pullover in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
