• The aisles of your airplane are no fashion runway. Don comfortable layers and take a cardigan as it can get quite cool in the cabin on long-haul flights. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are also a sensible choice.
• Unfortunately, a risk of long-distance flying is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity. To prevent this from happening, take every opportunity to walk around and give your legs a stretch. Compression socks and tights are also a great idea to help reduce this risk.
