"We stayed for 3 nights at Le Clos Saint Nicolas and had a wonderful experience. This beautiful château is historic and full of character, while also being exceptionally clean with modern amenities. It’s located in a peaceful village with a few lovely bars nearby, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend escape. Maria was a fantastic host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. "Very friendly welcome. Spotless rooms. Secure parking. Supermarket next door. 5 minute drive to a small shopping complex with a Lidl, Macdonalds, Steakhouse restaurant etc. recommend getting the breakfast here. Good choice of food that will proper set you up for the day. Definitely recommend for a stop over "

"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."
