What was meant to be a relaxing two-day escape turned into a frustrating experience due to numerous issues. The room was in poor condition: the carpet was dirty, and parts of it were coming up, which made us uncomfortable. Housekeeping did not come to clean or replace towels during our stay, and my husband had to go downstairs to request clean towels, only to be told that the hotel was understaffed—this is not acceptable for guest service.
Additionally, the furniture was old and smelled unpleasant, and we encountered no hot water at all in the bathroom. The air conditioning unit was ineffective, and the room remained uncomfortably warm. The desk had chipped paint, and the shower head was not working properly. To make matters worse, on our last night, the noise from neighboring guests was disruptive—loud screams and furniture being knocked over, which kept us awake.
I also want to mention the front desk staff: the lady who checked us in appeared to have a low attitude, offered no greeting or smile, which felt quite unwelcoming. In contrast, the lady who checked us out was much more friendly and energetic, which was a small bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.
