「The pictures and descriptions of this property is very deceptive! It’s old and rundown. Cracking the building structure, cracks in the floors, dirty and old refrigerator, tv and sink didn’t work, one of the pools is small and dirty. Not handicapped accessible. I would not recommend this property to a dog if needed shelter. It was ocean view that’s it. 」

「Bay view from the room was nice on some mornings seaplanes would land in the bay waking us up in the early morning. We asked one of the front desk workers if she could take a picture of us seeing that the lobby was empty with no else checking in and she seemed bothered by our request.」

「Sunset Gardens was nice enough and I would stay there again, but it was not 5 star accommodations. If you stay at a fancy resort I am guessing you will not experience the idiosyncrasies of island life. We stayed 2 nights and really only slept and showered. The rest of the time we were out exploring. We did have a rental car and never had an issue with parking but it is limited (8 spaces approximately) and I think we were told there were 17 rooms total. I had trouble keeping a consistent...

「The hotel is an older property but was in good shape. The only two issues were the fact that there’s no elevator and the shower in our room was impossible to keep at a constant temperature, it was either extremely hot or extremely cold. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend. 」
