"We booked this hotel very, very last minute as we had started to grow tired on the road. It was no problem at all and we were able to go straight to our room. The room was modern and comfortable and we slept really well . The doors do take a good push to close and are noisy when closing - but once the hotel had settled for the night it was a lovely calm environment. The village is very quaint and a self guided walking tour is suggested in the room which we would recommend that you do. The...

"Unfortunately the property is a it run down and very remote. The online description and pictures give a false impression, it is very basic and more a farmhouse than chateau. No restaurant on site so the nearest restaurant was over a half hours drive away down very narrow country lanes. The owner was very friendly but we got a shock when he tried to let another couple into our room at 23:30 forgetting that we were already in there and asleep! Overall we would not recommend staying here."
