Room is spacious and clean and in a good location. Only downside is you need to walk to the other side of the old town to check in, to then have to traipse across town with your luggage to your actual accommodation. Check-in should take place at the accommodation. You also need to visit that same place across town for breakfast each morning should you choose to include breakfast.

* No fresh air * TV remote doesn’t work * Not a good spot for seniors lots of twisting stairs * Breakfast is a quarter of a mile away from the hotel * Bidet upstairs doesn’t work * Wall fixtures are loose * No one at the front desk ever * You need a pilots license to operate the shower controls and light switches * No view from inside of room * Room always feels musty

Hotellet ligger fint och centralt vid hamnen. Hjälpsam personal. Frukosten serverades på annat hotell några minuters promenad bort. Men hör folklivet på gatan på kvällen.

Elia Erato is a beautiful two-story apartment right on the port in Chania! The views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking. There are bathrooms on both floors, and the downstairs bathroom even offers a lovely view of the port and lighthouse. We especially loved the downstairs shower — it includes a built-in sauna, which was a fantastic bonus. The location in the heart of the Old Town Port is incredibly convenient for exploring, though it can be tricky to find parking if you have a rental car. Overall, it’s a stunning apartment with an unbeatable location and unique features we really enjoyed!

Au centre des activités, très bien situé. S’attendre à du bruit le soir étant donné l’emplacement, car la ville est animée. Mais on dort très bien quand même. Excellent service de la chaîne Elia. Ils ont plusieurs logements un peu partout dans la ville.

This hotel was nice and the rooms were quite modern. We had the two bedroom. The check-in was fine at the other property and a young man helped us roll our bags to the second property. The bed was just OK. It was a terrible. It wasn’t great. There was a lovely veranda on our floor. We were room six, but we were never told about it. We just discovered it on our last night and never got to go out there and have a coffee or a glass of wine. There was no service out there, but it would’ve been nice to buy a bottle of wine and people watch on the Venetian Harbour out there. So that was a disappointment and a place for the hotel could do better for the people staying in the secondary property the view wasn’t great from room six it was an alleyway with residential buildings around. They are quite responsive in the lead up to our stay through Expedia messaging and then they gave us a phone number to send WhatsApp messages and they confirmed for us that there were some nearby beaches and beach bars, and restaurants open for us to do a little trip out of the town. If you are OK with kind of a self serve feeling, we would recommend the hotel, but we had just come from a luxurious five star resort with many many amenities so there was a bit of a contrast there for those with mobility issues the stairs up to the suites are quite steep and old-fashioned so it may not be suitable for everybody.
