Room and property was beautiful and it seemed like it was going well but the visit went downhill fast. The steam room was broken and the pool unheated. Housekeeping didn’t service our room until we asked in the evening. When we attempted to discuss, the front desk essentially blamed us for leaving the do not disturb sign on which we didn’t do and insisted the pool was 28c/82f. Impossible. The pool was freezing. I’ll bet the pool heater is the same unit as the steam room. We checked out at noon with one person on duty but on the phone at the desk. I’m not
sure we even got a thank you wave nod after leaving the keys on the desk. The in-room faux espresso machine died after a few pods. A glass of champagne was offered to compensate for all the issues.. Um thanks, but no. They claim to offer amenities, charge you for them, and then don’t uphold their end of the deal. It was so disappointing. I don’t know what else
to say. Bottom line is they didn’t have their act together and they need to do better. A lot better.
