We made a last minute booking and when we arrived at 3 am, they had no record of our booking. However, the concierge was extremely helpful and showed us to our room and said we could sort the booking out in the morning.
The room was generally clean and tidy however the bathroom showers were the kind where you have to hold the showerhead in your hand which is slightly annoying and rustic.
The rooms do not have air-conditioning which was slightly insufferable when it was 37°C. There was an included fan but of course this doesn’t really do anything.
I appreciate the hotel does not control the weather however I would argue that air-conditioning is a generally basic requirement for a modern hotel which was charging over €250 for one night.
We didn’t eat any food here just because of our schedule. There is on-site parking, but I cannot confirm if it’s chargeable or not because we parked on the street for free.
As a general rule, this is an okay hotel with excellent friendly and helpful staff who speak an excellent amount of English however I would reconsider a different hotel if you book here in the summer because the rooms would be simply too hot and the showers are in adequate.
