"Great home base for Oroville Lake. We stayed two nights. Place is easy to get in and out of. Hotel is up on a little hill away from casino. The lodging is cool, wish they had two bedrooms but the star suite is decent for two adults and two teens. The food in the AM is slightly lacking imo, and the buffet doesn’t open till like 11:00 am on a Sunday. And I don’t think you can get a mimosa or Bloody Mary in the morning either. Brewery serves up good lunch and dinner. Overall good place to stay and...

"We were in Oroville to visit our family and had two family gatherings at the Forebay. The hotel was close to our venue. We really enjoyed our stay there and will be back in the future. The breakfast was great and all of the staff was friendly and very helpful with anything that you needed. Thank you all for being so kind and helpful !!"

"The property has no staff or management on-site overnight. We checked in as normal but when we returned at 11 pm our room cards would not work. We rang the button outside the office - you could hear the phone ringing for two minutes, then it disconnected. Tried that more than a few times. Also called the phone number to reach the hotel several times - also no answer. Called Expedia, they could not reach hotel staff. Expedia attempted to get us another hotel room in Nevada City, no other hotels...
