Maison hotel is in a convenient and quiet location, the rooms are very nice and sleek. The staff were friendly, and there is a very large car park and petrol station next door. I was slightly confused about the room service but as I understood, we could have had food or drinks delivered to our room at no additional fee (pay for the food/drink but no room service charge).

Arrived late with 2 tired dogs for stopover on trip back home from Greece to UK. Kind welcome and great service, still managed to get something to eat and drink, despite the late arrival. Costas was a superstar. Thank you. Beds comfy too

Good enough for an overnight stay
Reception is 24hours which is importnat if flying i late to Thessaloniki airport. The hotel is njce enough with omfortanl if slightly firm bed. We were in the block the other side of the pool which is all lovely. Small(ish) room but has everything we needed. Nkisy guesta ruined a few hours of our sleep and the nouse carries a lot through the building. We set the AC to max fan which drowned out the nlise a little so we could sleep. Breakfast was ok. Terrible coffee and fruit juice was not real juice, just squash but the rest was OK. Certainly ok enough for the price paid - 39gbp.

Good hotel on road going west from Thessaloniki
Good hotel between Thessaloniki and Skydra/Edessa. There is a shortage of decent hotels in this area. Chalkidona doesn't seem to have much to offer, more of a small market town for the agricultural population. Reasonably nearby is Alexander The Great's birthplace and some archaeological sites. I have stayed at Maison hotel before, so know its good. Here are the plus points: 1.Easy to find, when heading from Saloniki take the first left at the filter exactly where the town buildings start. Go along about a mile and its on the right next to a garage. 2. Great welcome and check-in. Both times George has met me and pleasantly checked me in. 3. Not pricey. 4. Great pool and bar area outside at the back. 5. Newest rooms are good size, with balcony. 6. Free Wifi and good aircon in rooms. 7. Staff always friendly and helpful Negatives: 1. Breakfast is decidedly local style, some may like that but not me. 2. Room insulation is not great and corridors hard-floored, so there is some noise from others.

Great Family Hotel
Great little hotel. Nicely decorated, clean & staff were so polite & friendly. Breakfast was good with a large selection. The pool was wonderful with plenty of sunbeds & on duty life guard.Overall a very pleasant stay.

Amazing pool
Amazing pool, pool bar and the food was excellent! Rooms are very clean the grounds are beautiful landscaped. The staff was waiting hand and foot to please and accommodate. The owners were very nice always asked if we needed anything. Will always book when in Thessaloniki. Only 15min away great price .

Such a lovely hotel
One of the best hotels I have ever been to! And this is not solely because of the hotel, but also because of the staff. The room was ready and clean, with all necessities, and the breakfast was excellent. You get free access to the spa, and they welcome you with free water. Lovely gesture from the staff. To add, the bar has super tasty food at low prices. The pizza was excellent. Would stay again.

Nice hotel but far from beach
Overall a nice hotel, closest beach is 45 mins by train and a short walk. Beaches are not as nice compared to the other islands. Went to halkidiki worth the 3hr transport. Receptionist very helpful and informative and polite. Free breakfast but basic (dont expect bacon) free fast wifi fridge and comfortable bed. Pool very nice but public =too many young kids that come and pay 3euros to access the pool, which can get over crowded easily and noisy. But overall i would recommend this hotel.

Great value for money
A great hotel, especially for a stopover on your way to other places in Greece. The hotel has a really big pool and an on-site restaurant, so I imagine it is also great as a base to visit Thessaloniki. The breakfast was good and the front desk was really friendly. Great experience!

Slightly out of the way
We wanted a hotel near sights of Vergina and Pella and Pella was certainly close. But nothing else is! You need a car to stay here. The hotel was fine, but the pool was not open, which was a major disappointment. The breakfast was good; cheese pie in addition to the usual cheese ham, bread yoghurt, honey etc. I don't recommend the main evening menu, and the restaurant was smoky.

Everything was clean, and the hotel staff was friendly. However the building was old and not updated. The air conditioning didn't work, And it was over 85 degrees Fahrenheit at 9pm. It was practically unbearable. Also, there were a group of kids on soccer tournament for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and they started yelling at each other from 7:45 in the morning throughout the day and stopped at 11:00 at night. It was ridiculous. And apparently they are regulars at the hotel. Not acceptable behavior. I know that had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but it put a damper on our stay, and the hotel staff never informed the chaperones that the kids needed to calm down. Otherwise the breakfast was decent: bread, tiropitas, eggs, coffee, water, and orange juice (though the oj was really bad).

Very pleasant stay
Perfect place if you plan to visit Thessaloniki and the nearby towns, especially if you travel by car. The suite was very big and crystal clean. I will definitely come back in the future
