「Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. 「Nous n’avons qu’une seule nuit mais l’hôtel situé à Argentiere est seulement à 10 min en train de Chamonix ou en voiture. Le train est gratuit Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel bienveillant.」

「Staying in a hotel in the mountains above Chamonix, accessible only by a quaint train (30 minutes) where you can go on incredible hikes or just relax on the patio and stare at the glorious mountains... well, it doesn't get better than that. Everyone on the staff was attentive and nice, and the family room was perfect for my husband, myself, and our teenage daughter (who got her own space). We loved it!!」

「In a beautiful quite village with breath-taking view of Mont Blanc! Yet quite a few facilities were closed during summer season. All kinds of tablegames are prepared, and decoration inside was very homey. Breakfast was full of choices. Francesca is not only friendly but helpful with all kinds of information. Fairly nice place to stay at.」
