"The staff were lovely. The rooms and the AC was great. The pool needed a little clean but the kids loved it all the same. I definitely would stay here again when I come back"

"quiet place, free parking, everything in the building and rooms is new and clean. We were met personally by Paolo and showed the room. Soundproofing is very poor, but we stayed in October so we were alone. A very good option for one night. Room without windows, good lighting. A town with a beautiful coast and a visible sunset."

"One night stay on road trip. Quite bewildered by this town! Hotel old fashioned but efficient. Good breakfast good Wi-Fi. Lovely pool but you need a swimming hat. Fabulous pizza across the road left out of hotel less than five mins walk. Comfy room with balcony. "

"If your looking for a place close to the train station this is great. A little bit of a trek up hill to get to the city center where everything is. No breakfast unless you think packaged biscuits and bread breakfast, not happy about that. "

"If you’re planning to visit San Giovanni Rotondo, consider stopping in Foggia first — just as Saint Pio once did. This hotel was a wonderful find: peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s an ideal place to rest and reflect before continuing your journey to the Sanctuary of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina."

"Very gorgeous & upscale hotel. All marble floors, chandeliers & an EXCELLENT location to the church. Very friendly service. There wouldn’t be another hotel that could beat this. The woodwork at the check in was so ornate & stunning. I even bought an oil painting on canvas of Padre Pio from a famous artist that were for sale in the lobby. "
"This is a wonderful hotel located in Lucera and close to the charming town of Pietra Montecorvino ( a real hidden gem). Spacious rooms with beautiful views. Staff was accommodating and the breakfast was excellent with sweet and savory options."
"Pros:
If you’re going to the sanctuary of Padre Pio, this hotel has the best location, within a few mins by foot you are there. The bus stop that you take from Foggia Station and back is 2 mins away, so it’s quite a convenient location. The main center is only about 15 mins by foot, and the location “Bar Villa” were you will need to buy your bus tickets to Foggia and Mount Saint Angelo. Btw, Bar Villa has the best gelato and desserts in town.
Room is simple and average (IKEA furniture). There is also a lift/elevator in this hotel which is nice when heavy luggage.
Cons:
Only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is bc the housekeeper left several areas with thick dust okntopnofnthr bedding frame and shelves, and there was a red stain in one of the towels provided. In addition, the AC control wasn’t working, but bc this town of San Giovanni is up on a hill there was a cool breeze at night time in the month of August where I didn’t feel that AC was really necessary compare to other areas in Italy during the summer, if you only opened the window to your room (the window had an iron screening, so it’s safe). Lastly, WiFi is very weak in this hotel, every night it kept cutting in and out, or at times it was temporary unavailable and you had to wait for it to come back, it was so annoying. "
"Lovely hotel, central location, nice breakfast included with North American options. Parking available but offsite. No street parking. Front desk staff excellent!!"
