"The place was convenient to town (not walkable). It was very clean and the owners were very nice. Breakfast was good and during the meal, Alan spoke about the local history and places to see. He slso played the fiddle for us. Very entertaining."

"This place was a gem! We loved our stay here for the night, too bad we didn't stay longer. The staff were super friendly, and the charm of this place was over the top. We stayed in one of the chalet's, a one bedroom unit and it was so cozy and inviting. The restaurant food and staff were excellent, and the live traditional music was so fun to listen to. They even provided a service to pick us up from the chalet and take us back when we wanted to go back to our room. We highly recommend this as a stopover if you are up in Cape Breton!"

"The property looks worn from the outside like many motels/inns but the inside was spotless, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, spacious, the air conditioner/heater worked well, ample parking. The lady at the office was pleasant and very accommodating when I asked both nights for ice. I’d recommend and wouldn’t hesitate staying here again."
