"We saved a few bucks staying here.
No breakfast but close to McDonalds.
A short drive into town for other dining and sightseeing.
No frills but clean, safe and comfortable. Stayed here on two occasions."
"I booked a room for a Tuesday night, and had a friendly welcome from the staff member. I soon realized that I would be able to stay another night, so I booked another night. I was advised that after booking another night I would have to check in again and receive new key cards from the morning staff. I went down to the lobby the next morning to explain my situation. The staff member was playing a game on his phone as I came to the desk. The staff member seemed like I was bothering them with getting new key cards. Not very customer service friendly at all. That night at midnight, my cellphone rings as I am asleep, and it is the same staff member asking when I was going to check in. I indicated that I was already in my room and had been there since 6pm. I was told to carry on with my night. I was asleep, and now wide awake having to start driving at 6am. Not being able to fall asleep immediately made for a terrible rest of my night. Upon checking out, I encountered the same staff member who called me at midnight with another staff member. I asked if they had resolved the issue of my check in, and asked why they would call me at midnight. The other staff member replied, "It could have been worse.....someone could have just walked into your room" Thanks for the hypothetical!! Staff flippantly told me to have a nice day. Worst customer service I have ever in the hospitality industry! Would not recommend at all!"
"Historical hotel. Haunted af. Not a restful night due to random knocking in my room all night and the constant feeling of being watched. I would definitely stay again tho. Room was well furnished and the complimentary breakfast ticket was nice."
"Always an amazing stay - I just wish the food in the restaurants wasn’t so expensive though our meals at the waters edge were very tasty and well prepared. We also had very excellent service."
"While we enjoyed the stay and location, we were disappointed that the breakfast didn't live up to the reviews. On Expedia there were tons of reviews about the breakfast which is one of the main reasons we stayed there. We were expecting a bed and breakfast and woke up to muffins left on a table."
