Lovely Lory

Lovely hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Shuttle picked us up at the train staion which was easy and very helpful. Staff did their best to communicate with using English which was appreciated! The room was lovely, large, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent! Best wine ever!

Je pense que c'est plus un bon 3 étoiles qu'un 4 étoiles. Le rapport qualité-prix reste très bon. Le gérant est adorable et très serviable. L'hotel est un peu dans son jus de 1997 mais c'est très propre, bien entretenu et bien tenu. Les parkings, intérieur ou extérieur, sont sûrs. Il est facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute. Les gorges de Celano sont à 5 minutes. Donc c'est une bonne option pour la région

Soggiorno di una settimana. Hotel situato in buona posizione non lontano dal centro, parcheggio in loco, servizio buono, possibilità di consumare i pasti all'annesso ristorante "Ferraro".

Camere spaziose e pulite. Personale gentile e molto disponibile, sempre pronto ad aiutarti. L'hotel dispone anche di un ristorante interno per i pasti e di un parcheggio privato gratuito. Buon rapporto qualita prezzo. Consigliatissimo

Buona nel cl complesso

Ottimo soggiorno, personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima posizione, comoda la possibilità di un parcheggio privato interno alla struttura. L’unica cosa che potrebbe migliorare , se posso permettermi, è la colazione. Può essere migliorata nella parte dei dolci, sarebbero graditi torte un po’ più sfiziose o brioshes alla crema, come al bar. Comunque nel complesso rimane un ottima albergo che consiglierei sicuramente. Inoltre altra nota positiva è che la struttura ospita i nostri amici animali domestici.

Mountainside village not far from Rome.

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Lory in Celano visiting my father's home town. The main reason for the stay was to see the town and visit relatives and friends. There is some spectacular scenery around the area. Being "off the beaten track" of the main tourist areas, there may be less restaurants in the area with English speaking staff. The Ristorante Cittadela serves some of the best "home style" Italian cooking at a fraction of the price you'd pay in the tourist destinations. The Castle in town is great to visit for some great photo opportunities.

Room was good sized and clean. Only detraction was size of shower for a 182cm male of large build. Otherwise more than satisfied with stay.

Week end sulla neve. Hotel datato, ed essendoci poca concorrenza nella zona il prezzo dell'hotel risulta "elevato"(80€). Hotel e Colazione non certo da hotel 4 stelle. Buona la posizione per raggiungere Ovindoli.

Abbiamo trascorso un week end (14-15 Febbraio 2015) in questo gradevole albergo vicino ad Ovindoli, rimanendo soddisfatti della scelta e piacevolmente sorpresi dalla città di Celano.

Nice Hotel in a Beautiful Town

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Lory. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet included cereals, pastries and breads, but no fruit. There was also coffee, tea and juices. The room was very clean. I would have preferred fuller pillows. They were very flat. In North America, we are used to super-fluffy pillows, but it would have taken 3-4 of the Lory's pillows to equal what we're used to. If you are sensitive to outside noises, ask for a room at the back, as the front of the hotel faces a main road. I would recommend this Hotel and will probably stay there again, but will bring my own pillow.
