"Such a nice, clean property, central location (right across the street from Chon Saan Palace) walking distance from a lot of places in the city. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!"

"Stayed in Cabana 4 for a week in January, room was excellent, bed was firm and comfortable. Staff on site were excellent and enjoyed the daily breakfast either sitting on the porch or at the tables set up by the pool. Location was great, casual and fun truck stop literally across the street and the always excellent rum dog a couple of minutes away. 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes and a fridge in the room for your drinks. 2nd time in Belize, this is a perfect, quiet, relaxing property with easy...

"The place was a ghost town, no bar by the pool like advertised. Made us wear wristbands with nobody around and first words were no guests. Def not worth the money "
"This hotel was the worst one of our whole trip. It desperately needs updating and painting. There were bars on the windows, ants in the bathroom and a loud gurgling noise from the toilet and shower all night. We moved out after only 1 night there and went to the Tropical Paradise Hotel which was very nice. We had an oceanfront room. They have a nice pool with swim up bar. I would not recommend Anchorage Beach Resort to anyone."
"They’re mean angry people who don’t communicate and offer no refunds even if you push a button wrong and immediately ask for a refund. I’d never stay with this place ever"
"Clean, new hotel, lovely staff it's a nice place for relaxing by the pool, a little over priced and they are clearly doing some construction. Overall good place ."
"We loved our stay at Magic Island, its a great hotel if you want to have a relaxing holiday but still able to access the south side of the island at ease. The rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean and have everything you need. The staff really make this hotel, they are amazing and create such a special experience for guests!"
"Wonderful spacious cabanas, so cool inside with large beds and a roomy shower. The on-site restaurant was also fabulous. The staff were incredibly helpful. This north side of the Split on Caye Caulker is pristine and quiet. Town is a short hop on a golf cart and 2 min ferry ride. "
"The place was clean and has the basics you need. However, the walls and floor are like paper. I could hear people yawn. Someone next to me like ran up the steps and ran into the room, I'm not exactly sure but literally every wall and my bed shook when they did it. Door slams also shake the wall. I could deal with this for the cost but there's a family that lives in a house behind the hotel and they would scream at each other all day long. And i mean like nasty screams. Once the guy (dad maybe?) definitely screamed and slapped a small child. The dogs also would bark randomly. My last night at 1am the dogs just barked for 30 minutes straight. It was honestly stressful and overwhelming to be around that energy. Also the water would stop periodically, including the morning I needed to get ready to leave. The bed was also extremely firm. It really hurt my back and hips and made sleeping very uncomfortable."
