It’s the only place in town, so I was just happy to have the option. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean, if a bit dated. The price was reasonable and they had the added convenience of an attached a liquor store with a few snacks. Bar/Restaurant attached too, but I arrived too late to take advantage of that

Restaurant & bar closed - lack of adequate staff. Desk was closed after 5 PM - lack of staff. Liquor store was open. Breakfast limited. Staff that I dealt with were friendly & helpful. Room clean.

When checking in the woman at the front counter was rude.. if that was my business i would let her go.. As i had a complaint she was very rude with her response.. The owner fixed the problem but he really should not keep rude staff around bad for business. If i was ever to return i would not like to see her at my checking

I don't think they even changed the sheets in the 2 weeks, HVAC systems inadequate, lucky to have garbage removed each day

Sorry to hear that you very not happy with your stay. But please note that your room was clean everyday like trash, vaccum, bathroom and etc. We also have a note by the bed which says housekeeping won't touch the bed if you have stuff on in. Hope to see you again in future.

This is a good choice for the area! Beds were very comfortable, Service is great. Food could be better. Air conditioners have a funny smell. Overall decent place to stay.

Simple and quiet.
Simple, comfortable, quiet. The one thing I would offer as an improvement is that the commercially prepared hard boiled eggs appeared to be past their best use date. As the only protein option available, that was a disappointment.

The Cedar Inn is walking distance to down town Cavalier. Many new upgrades. Restaurant and bar has everthing you need at reasonable prices. Nick and his wife and staff are great people and always willing to go the extra mile. This was our 9th time staying there and will be returning again.

Very good. The town is near the border so there is always going to be the possibility for some riff raff in an area like that. Probably one of the most beautiful little towns I have seen!

Beds were hard.
It was decent place to stay, with a restaurant attached to the hotel. However, The beds in our room (#101) were VERY hard....not just firm, but HARD. Front desk lady was very personable.

Better setting for a meat locker!!
Our stay at the hotel was miserably uncomfortable. The lobby was too cold to eat stale breakfast offerings. The room was cold and the heating unit did not work properly.
