「We loved this beautiful guesthouse and our gracious, welcoming hosts. Nelly’s jams and Franck’s yogurt were a delight at breakfast. If you are staying in Sarlat, try to stay here. It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet. 」

「This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room.」

「établissement pittoresque, la déco vous ramène en arrière, que les moins de 20 ans ne peuvent pas connaitre. Mobilier bien chiné, un petit retour qui fait du bien et vous replonge en enfance. 「Madam Agnes was a perfect hostess who spoke beautiful English and gave us a warm welcome. She went out on her way to help us arrange a canoe trip down the Lot and a visit to the Peche Merle Caves. Her husband made us lovely breakfasts and helped us to book an evening meal in Cahors.」

「The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

「Sarlat is a great place from which to explore the Dordogne and you won't find a better place to stay than O Claire de Lune. Breakfasts included home baked bread and pastries and one day Crepe! We will recommend to all our friends for both this place and the region.」
