"Clean, tidy although the decor is dated in many places and could do with being freshened up. Evening meal food was dry and okay but the breakfast was really good. "

The “English Breakfast” was also cold and in fact a Continental Breakfast would have been a better description. That said, the room rate was extremely reasonable and the staff were excellent - providing both recommendations for dinner on the evening of arrival and then at breakfast, providing an itinerary of recommended stops for our journey up to Fort William."

"Five stars for the location right at the airport, ease of taking the #500 express bus between the city center and airport; clean, comfortable modern room, bathroom could use a little update but having bar and restaurant on site, very helpful and friendly staff, even had fun live music, it was a lot for the price, especially convenience and comfort."

"A lovely light, double aspect, clean, quiet, spacious room and bathroom. Bedding and towels good quality. Even a stand alone heater for extra warmth was much appreciated. Dining room staff efficient, my evening meal was a pleasant experience, but didn't take breakfast. A warm welcome from reception staff member."

"Hi. Good location for the ferry. Thought id booked breakfast in with my stay to be told i had to pay for it. No paperwork on checkin so nice n easy. Really old hotel, my room was the attic, cold n wied smell. Heater provided but i couldnt work out how to use it but only there 1 night n bed fabulously comfy so very cold when out of bed. Didnt want to complain for only 1 night but im 100% sure the manager would have sorted it out, he was really nice n so were his staff. Great position to see Holy Loch n ferry across the water is very frequent n just outside Dunoon so all in all a great home from home as im just 1.5 hours away but think a cars best to see around n about Dunoon yo appreciate the scenery n landscape n parking at the hotel was fine. Will take a hell of a lot of money to bring the hotel to modern standards decor wise. Might be back 1 day but Thank u for your care and attention whilst i stayed overnight "
