The property itself and the staff were lovely. Great communication. It is a very convenient spot right near bus terminals and train station but not a very clean area.

Train station hotel works
For a hotel next to the train station, Symposium definitely serves its purpose. Clean, modern room, great bed, and easy access with WhatsApp instructions. The inside condition is nicer than the outside. Kind attendant in the breakfast room.

Lovely apartment. Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Great bathroom. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location directly opposite train station. Would have appreciated self check in instructions (lock box) earlier. Only received 2 hours before check in and had to turn on my roaming data to receive instructions.

A block away from the train station
Hard to find at first, within first block from train station. Had to call host to gain access to the lock keys as I never received instructions by email. Probably because I flew in from the US and did not have an Italian sim card for my phone yet. This is a B&B on the third floor of a nondescript building with four rooms and private baths. Very clean. Good breakfast is being served from 8 to 9:30. Room needs to be vacated by 10, not 11 as stated on my reservation. All in all: first frustrating to check in, then pleasant stay. Would use again if closeness to train station is important.

A MUST front of central station
It was right in front of central station of Catania, easy to get by airport bus at once, super clean and well facilitated, mini bar in the room price reasonable, and the lady who helped for breakfast was super kind and nice!

Belle prestation dans un quartier peu reluisant
Belle chambre , tout confort .Très propre Avec la clim indispensable mais attention coté rue un peu bruyant toute la nuit et surtout le quartier n'est pas reluisant , ne pas trainer la nuit .Dommage

Boa opção para pernoitar.
Bom custo benefício. O hotel é confortável e fica quase em frente a estação de trem e de ônibus. A janela tinha proteção acústica, então a noite foi bem silenciosa. Café da manhã simples, mas gostoso.

Ankomsten til hotellet var utryg. Det var svært at finde stedet, da der var kun et lille skilt og ikke noget telefonnummer. Det lå på 4. sal og resten af bygningen var tom, hvilket gjorde det utrygt. Når man først havde fået adgang var stedet helt okay. Godt værelse og badeværelse, som var rent og pænt, og en god seng. Personalet var meget servicemindet og venligt. Beliggenheden var god i forhold til stationen og ikke så langt fra centrum.

Nadie se comunicó conmigo ni me dieron un Pin para entrar a la Propiedad. Estuvimos afuera del Portón por una hora para entrar al edificio por medio de otro dueño de apartamento. Igual nos sucedió para entrar al apartamento y saber cual era nuestra habitación. Nos fuimos a las 5:30 am para el aeropuerto y dejé las llaves y 5 Euros para los impuestos. Nunca vimos a los dueños.

Tæt ved stationen
Beliggenhed er tæt til stationen og bus terminal, hvor man kan købe bus billet til Etna kun 6.80 €, super billigt og nemt. Værelset er rent, rummeligt, men morgenmad er næsten ikke eksisteret: ingen alm. Kaffe, brød, pålæg og æg... Ret kedeligt. En enkel overnatning, er det ok.

Отличное место для бизнес поездки или на выходные.
Маленький Отель в котором всего 4 Номера.2 номера на 3 х человек и 2 на двоих.Все выполнены в разном стиле,очень приятно и современно.Виномерах есть все необходимое,в том числе и нормальный фен.Убираются ежедневно,меняют полотенца и постельное белье. Завтрак сервируется с 8 утра до 9.30,сладкие закуски,сыры,колбасы,несколько видов сока,чай кофе,фрукты.Так же всякие снэки. Персонал приятный,если приезжаете ночью,вам дают небольшой квест(инструкцию) для поиска ключей в маленьких коробочках прикреплённых на стене. Если вы без машины то расположение супер,и вокзал и автовокзал в шаговой доступности.До центра минут 7-10 средним шагом. Специализированной Парковки нет,придётся оставлять на дороге,а это черевато,так как это все таки юг Италии,если машина застрахована бросайте как хотите,как делает все население. В общем я рекомендую,я была с дочкой. Фото совпадают с реальным состоянием отеля.

Perfect stay.
The stay in hotel symposium was great. The staff contacted us two days before the stay about the keys and the breakfast, since we arrived so late that they would not be there. They organized breakfast for us to our mini fridge and Cafe vouchers for cappuccino and colazione to use at the nearby cafe, which was very delicious also. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean and cozy. The railway station is very close and easy to access. We have nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect.

Mer enn forventet!
Oppholdet her var en opptur. Vi hadde en overnatting på vei til Taormina og en overnatting på vei tilbake. Har bare positivt å si! Flotte rom, god service og god frokost. Kort vei til fots til gamlebyen i Catania, som var utrolig flott. Skulle gjerne hatt en dag til her. Ble litt forelsket i denne byen :-)

Rather disappointing...
Surely well located if you just pay attention to train and bus stations, but rather far away from places of interest, which supposes to walk more than fifteen minutes in specially ugly surroundings. Bed and breakfast is itself situated in enough unpleasant surroundings. Once in the building, do not confuse Symposium with another bed and breakfast three floors up, and keep in mind that the name Symposium is indicated, not in big characters on the door, but in very small ones on the right wall, with the consequence that we first missed it. Another point is that we finally never understood what actually was check-in time. The room was correct and clean. But the main disappointment clearly was the breakfast, a collection of (of what, by the way?) apparently industrial biscuits/cakes/croissants under plastic. Choosing something was not easy...

民宿而言，職員準時到達等候開門，有廚房。由車站去酒店很近，亦可步行去旅遊景點，非常方便。不過本身大廈樓層牆身簿，聽到別人說話。

L'hôtel était vraiment top rien à dire le personnel accueillant et très attentionné. Cependant, l'environnement c'est à dire la ville de Catane est vraiment sale. Ce n'est pas du tout accueillant ce n'est pas un endroit auquel je reviendrais si je dois retourner en Sicile.

Excelente todo, muy cerca de la estación de trened
Exelente atención por parte de sus dueños y del personal. Exquisito desayuno, de calidad todo! Está a metros de la estación de trenes y de las paradas de autobuses para pasear por Catania y otros lugares. A metros del mar.
