What a beautiful jewel of a hotel! We loved our stay. The room was a perfect reflection of the original lovely home, and a modern, clean, well-designed hotel. Rafael went out of his way to help us in all that we needed. He was so patient and kind to us.

Beautiful modern hotel in a fantastic central location in Catania. All key sites are within easy walking distance, and the staff were very helpful with information and requests. I would definitely recommend for all visits to this beautiful city.

There are many positives to this hotel, including the really wonderful breakfast, the helpful staff and to a certain extent its location. Our room and the hotel were impeccably clean and modern. We were upgraded in our room. The room was really nice in every way except that it only had sky lights for windows. That made me feel closed in but in 4 nights I began to get used to it. The only other issue I would mention is that they suggested we use bottled water to drink but then charged 3 euros for a small bottle - which I opened thinking it was free. After I figured it out we bought a 2 liter bottle in a bodega for 1.5 euros. No hotel that I have been in has charged for bottled water when they suggest we don't drink the water. In fact in a hotel this pricey bottled water is free. I have tried to separate my feelings about Catania in general (not great) from my feelings about this hotel.
