Un'ottima sistemazione.

Comodo b&b vicino al centro e alla strada verso l'aeroporto. Bello il palazzo d'epoca. Comoda e spaziosa la stanza, abbastanza silenziosa. Personale gentile e colazione buona con torte fatte in casa. Possibilità di parcheggiare nel cortile interno. Consigliato.

Jolies chambres spacieuses, localisation centrale

BB bien situé, près du marché aux poissons et des principales attractions de Catane. Accès facile depuis l’aéroport en bus (4 euro/ personne), mais nous avons préféré utiliser le service de navette pour y retourner prendre notre vol (15 euro). Chambre spacieuse et propre pour accueillir une famille de quatre. Il manquait une table de chevet et une lampe d’un côté du lit. Beaucoup de rangements et d’endroits pour poser nos effets personnels sont prévus, y compris - ce qui est rare - un support pour les brosses à dents. Wifi fonctionnel. Petit déjeuner correct pour le prix et servi avec le sourire, plutôt industriel qu’artisanal. Nous aurions aimé savoir que la réception était fermée de 13h à 15h, car sans téléphone, nous serions restés sur le trottoir.

Pleasant B&B close to the cathedral

The entrance gate was quite frightening late at night, but the welcome, the elegant furnishings and the remarkable breakfast made this my happiest stay in a hotel in Italy.

Все было замечательно: номер убирался почти стерильно каждый день, смена белья и полотенец через день, завтрак, кроме того, что он был вкусен, носил вид какого-то средневекового ритуала. Наверное этому способствовал весь старинный интерьер гостиной.

One night in Catania

The B&B is not in a very good area of Catania. I would not stay the if you think you will be out after dark. The rom was clean and bed was comfortable. The room was surprisingly quite despite being at a very busy intersections. The host was vet accommodating in allowing us to leave our bags earlier.

Hyggeligt B&B tæt ved den historiske bykerne

Min mand og jeg var igen i år Acqua dell'Arte, og vi valgte dette B&B, fordi vi var så glade for at være der sidste år. Hotellet levede igen fint op til vores forventninger. Det er rigtig fint indrettet med store og pæne værelser, rent, velindrettet med aircondition og køleskab på værelset, og servicen er fin med et imødekommende, sødt og behjælpsomt personale. Når man første gang ankommer til adressen, er det lidt svært at finde hotellet, da man skal ind gennem en port og opad nogle trapper. Ligeså snart man er indenfor, er alt fint, og man modtages med varme og imødekommenhed. Parkering ved hotellet er muligt mod reservation, men der er ikke så mange pladser. Et af de helt store plusser ved dette B&B er beliggenheden lige ved Piazza del Duomo, den historiske bykerne og fiskemarkedet.

Close to everything

Great position within walking distance of the cultural old town of Catania. Only hire small cars in Sicily as you have to squeeze in tight places. Was able to park at accommodation. Walk up 3 flights of stairs though with suitcases was difficult. Had trouble with the keys...our room key lock was just a bit too touchy. Spent an anxious 14 minutes toying with it as owners had gone out.

joli mais froid !

jolie chambre dans appartement bourgeois bien rénové. En décembre par contre il fait très froid à l'intérieur. Chauffage et eau chaude ne fonctionnaient pas le premier jour, réparé le deuxième jour. On a eu l'air conditionné à 30 ° pour se réchauffer... Et puis il y avait une odeur persistante de canalisations venant de la salle de bains, les vieux édifices peinent à cacher leur âge. Malgré ces désagréments on a apprécié la décoration, la literie, l'accueil et les efforts pour régler les problèmes d'eau et de chauffage. Petit-déjeuner moyen pas de pain ou de fruits frais.

Nice respite from the larger tourist towns.

We arrived mid-day and found no difficulty gaining access through the controlled gate to the property. We were met by the proprietess who is the daughter-in-law of the owner. After a quick tour of the property which includes a beautiful private swimming pool, she pointed out some paths through a somewhat neglected lemon orchard. Our room was easily accessible with parking right in front of our rental unit. Fridge, stove, oven and cooking utensils are good. The place was very clean, modern and spare. Make sure to bring your own soap, laundry detergent, and if you are arriving later in the day - food and coffee to tide you over. The drive to town is mere minutes but finding good food vendors can be a trick. If you aren't familiar with foreign washing machines, be sure to ask how to use the one in your rental unit. Meeting, and socializing with other visitors can be delightful - or not. For us it was great. We had a very relaxing time and took an extensive tour of the coastal area including the old tuna processing facility. Even in mid-October it can get hot and sunny - bring sunscreen!

Charming pension in a city-centre palace

This is charming, little pension set up in a beautiful palace and located in wonderful area of Catania, just a few steps from the main square and the main shopping street. I liked Rossana very much, she welcomed me and explained about the city and she has excellent communication with guests. Room was nice, spacious and very clean. I also liked breakfast which was simple and served on a communal table where all guests sit together and can socialize. Pension is lovely for all guests who want to stay at the place with a lot of art and antiques.
