Had a lovely stay here in a very comfortable house. Warm welcome from Johnny and his dad and asked if I wanted some fresh milk for tea once I was shown to my room…always a good sign! My room was beautifully furnished and clean and very bright, with a lovely spacious balcony overlooking the hills. Tasty breakfast and on the road. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Charming hotel. Like home from home. Lovely homely room with balcony and beautiful view. Comfy bed. The landlord John was very welcoming. Home cooked to order delicious hot breakfast. Also cereals and fruit available. Gave me a little box of chocolates on departure. Only stayed one night yet felt I was family. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Sofia

We were greeted by Johnny who was a superb host. Our room was large with a balcony and chairs. The community center was adjacent to the property with a walking track which was fabulous on overcast days when you want to walk but not get caught in the rain. We had asked if there was a refrigerator we could keep a few things in and within an hour or two Johnny’s dad John had bought a new refrigerator for us to use. We stayed for a week and had somewhere to explore daily. The water pressure and hot water were great in the shower. We truly enjoyed our stay and John and Johnny were super hosts. 🌹

This is a charming and cozy B&B. The bed was a little low and we couldn’t get the TV to work but we were tired anyway. This was a one night stop on our way around Ireland and it suited us just fine.

Wonderful host and spacious accommodation.

We had an excellent stay at Ardgort House. Our room was spacious and well equipped. John is an absolute gentleman and served up a great breakfast. Walking distance to a very friendly town. We were lucky to be there for the Black Saturday parade. Thank you John for being a wonderful host.

A taste of the old roadside hotel with a 2 minute walk to town center. Our host, John, is a terrific fellow eager to do anything for you. He has a full bar available to you and makes a nice breakfast as well.
