「Good location」

「This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of little nooks and cranny’s to sit quietly if you wish. The bar was busy and we ate there. The service was very good and the food, exceptional. Breakfast too was very good. Overall, a good experience but at a higher than necessary price. Also, there is no pool at this hotel and no pool next door, as suggested. You have access to a pool but that’s a five min drive away, so maybe they do not need to mention a pool at all....

「I would stay here again a hundred times! The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Best brown bread in Ireland! Our room and bathroom were spotless. It was quiet and comfortable. We were there during a nasty storm and had no reason to leave the property, so I can’t say anything about Tralee and how convenient the location is, but it sure was nice to have everything we needed (food, entertainment, clean accommodations) without having to step into the rain!」

It was surprisingly warm during our time there, so I was grateful for the fan they provided and the ability we had to fully open our windows. 「The Killarney Townhouse is affiliated with the Grand Southern Hotel which is where car parking currently is. The Grand Southern staff was very helpful bringing our luggage to the Townhouse! The Killarney Townhouse is an older property but it has recently been renovated. The 3 bed room we had was spacious and very comfortable. 「The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. 「Good location if you want to visit the ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe. The Hotel is comfortable and new. Breakfast provided is nice and I was given lots of fruits and chocolate on arrival.」

「We booked two rooms for our family and our stay coincided with the heat wave. One was interior but had a/c and was quiet at night. The other was an upgraded suite but it did not have a/c so the only option for air flow was to keep the balcony door open. Sadly, the balcony opened to the hotel wedding reception area so our evenings were disturbed by music with heavy bass and chatter until 12:30am all nights of our stay.」
