「This property has the potential to be a 5 Star hotel/resort. The property and surrounding grounds are excellent. The rooms are modern and spacious. The problem, and it’s significant, is the food and beverage. We had the worst meal in Italy I’ve ever had in their “fine dining” restaurant w a family party of 18 which we set up in advance. It was awful, as was the service. We gave them another shot with just a party of three and it too was poor. The pool restaurant is much better so I advise you...

「We just spent 4 nights at this hotel and absolutely adored it. The breakfasts were exceptional, the rooms were clean, a very nice size and very well appointed and the staff so friendly and helpful. There was ample parking and lots of restaurants nearby. The town itself was dreamy. Many of the homes are covered in flowers and plants. 「The porsenna resort is a wonderful quiet retreat in the country side . It is very close to several touristy towns and has easy access roads . The rooms are large , but the shower is small . The included breakfast is amazing . The view is spectacular , very nice sunset view while having an aperitif.」

「Outstanding location , with breathtaking views of Umbria from atop of the hill on which the small town of Bettona is located . During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste. All in all , I enjoyed the 3 night stay , using it as a base to visit Perugia (30 minutes drive) and Assisi (also 30 minutes).
