"This hotel is stunning, it's an old building which has been done up to a very high standard. We had a double bedroom which was very large, it had plenty of room if you needed to store luggage and was easy walking distance from the station. It was equipped with a kettle and supplies for hot drinks, and also a fridge. The shower worked great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with loads of choice. The area was nice although not alot about, we walked down to the church basilica della madonna which is stunning inside, and also walked all round the small town centre. We also ate at a small restaurant called parravicini where the food was amazing and very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. And recommend it either for a stopover when doing the Bernina express or for a longer trip if you want somewhere comfortable with lots of room."
"Great hotel overall. The staff was generally attentive and professional. However, I did experience one uncomfortable incident where I was asked to give up my seat for a group before I had finished my drink, and no alternative accommodation was offered. There appeared to be plenty of available seating elsewhere, so this interaction was surprising. Aside from that, my stay was very pleasant."
"Restaurant for dinner excellent food reasonable cost. Reception staff very helpful. Room clean and modern. We had a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool which was super. Only one plastic cup in the bathroom..no glasses for beverages. Otherwise all ok"
"The hotel is in a great location in central Tirano. The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - with unique neon signs over the beds. There are a few spots onsite to park and I was able to get one of those. Alessia on reception is extremely efficient and also very friendly.
You get breakfast in a restaurant a short walk away. The breakfast is fine but I suggest cheese is served away from the meat for vegetarians like me.
We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant also. The staff are great, the menu is varied and they have a great selection of local wines. It’s great value for money.
The location of the hotel is perfect for people going on the Bernina Train like we did. It’s also great value for money.
I live in Northern Italy so will certainly stay here again when I next visit Tirano. Thanks again for making myself and my friend so welcome at the hotel and at the restaurant. "
