Una masia del siglo XVIII, convertida en un magnífico hotel ubicado en un lugar tranquilo y apartado del mundanal ruido. Ideal para parejas y para aquellos que quieran relajarse, huyendo del estrés.

Relax en Catalogne

Très bel endroit très calme, la bâtisse est un ancien corps de ferme du 17ème rénové avec goût. L’accueil est chaleureux, je conseille l’aperitif Avec planche de charcuterie catalane et verre de Tinto au bord de la piscine au soleil couchant. Attention pas de restauration sur place hors petit déjeuner.

ARQUITECTURA Y ENTORNO RECOMIENDO. FALLO EN TRATO.

En su mayoría, instalaciones y entorno muy recomendables. No obstante: 1.- Atasco en bañera por hojarasca (¿cambio de presión atmosférica según su argumento o fabulosa falta de mantenimiento?, y de paso, limpieza...), y no tiene desperdicio: pretendía que me lo desatascara yo mismo... (sin comentarios...). Mire usted: cuando uno lleva 25 años como arquitecto técnico, de los cuales 15 en departamentos de siniestros tanto de compañías como de corredurías de seguros, tratando con técnicos periciales sobre daños tanto normales como variopintos, que te ocurran estas cosas es de lamentar, porque dan la sensación que le tratan a uno como NO se merece. Y nada tiene que ver mi experiencia laboral para ello. Solo expuesta para indicar conocimiento de causa en mis humildes opiniones. No padezcan, no sufro de titulitis, disfruto con poco y bueno, pero llevo mal el insulto encubierto. 2.- Cambio de habitación de inferior categoría (esto, de por si, no merece más comentarios) 3.- Reserva que da lugar a confusión (reconocido por hostelero) ofreciendo servicios que en realidad NO están incluidos, sin contra-prestación por las molestias o cuyo ofrecimiento de las misma queda tan deslucido o se hace con la boquita tan pequeña que, efectivamente, sí da lugar a confusión. Verán, creo ser consciente del fabuloso esfuerzo que es necesario para iniciar y mantener un negocio. Pero amigo, como no destiles un exquisito cuidado con tu principal fuente de ingresos (clientes) algo se escapa.

Great choice near Girona airport. No boutique pretences but a certain charm and tranquility. Limited mod cons, so not for you if you must have air con / wifi etc in the room, but all basic needs met in a simple and classic way - and a beautiful rural location.

off the beaten track but close to everything

If you are looking for a taste of Catalonia instead of the typical chain hotel, Rusticae Mas Vilalonga Petit is just that. It's a bit off the beaten track in a rural setting but still only 15 minutes from the coast and maybe 30 minutes from Girona. The owner, Montse, was lovely and made us feel at home. She also helped us with dinner reservations, visits to sights that you can't find in every travel guide, and shared a lot about the local culture. From delicious breakfasts on the patio to the beautiful room and nice gardens with pool, we truly enjoyed our stay.
