"The staff at the waterpark was a little rude and both my kids (10 and 13) said more than one swore in their presence. One specifically said “my boss is on my A” (said the full word but it won’t let me send my review with it) "

"Hot tub and pool were nice but the fan above the pool was pretty loud. Breakfast was ok. Room was ok except the toilet seat was not connected to the commode. The staff came across as not anxious to be of help. For instance, we found a pretty expensive drill near the pool abandoned. We went to the front desk, yelled hello and nobody answered. We called staff from the phone in an adjacent room, heard the phone ring and staff person answer. The person then came out of the room and took the drill. Similarly when we arrived we were a bit early. Nobody was at the desk. We called and the staff person told us rather curtly to come back at 1:30. We were early but it would have been nice to speak face to face with someone who might have at least checked to see if a room had been available. "

"You get what you pay for.. definitely one of the worst quality inns I’ve been to. Sure it was clean enough, but after seeing the blood spots from bed bugs but no bugs seen I didnt sleep well. Like other reviews say, staff isn’t really around. Place is a ghost town. The pool is cold. There’s also only a ladder to get in so my 4yo was disappointed she couldn’t sit n play in the water. The breakfast is the post Covid fake food breakfast. I wouldn’t feed the eggs to my dog. Would I stay again? No. More so because of the bed bug situation- I didn’t see the report of WHEN they had them but it was in 2025. I stay in many cheap hotels but this one is definitely towards the bottom. If you’re single & just looking for a cheap place for the night, go for it, nothing terribly wrong. We got one of the suites, it was smaller than suites I’ve gotten other places. Not much bigger than reg rooms. Oh & they were going to charge me per KID to stay in the room! It was me, my husband & 3 children 6 & under. HOW RIDICULOUS "

"I was unable to make my reservation and after talking with hotel and getting the ok for a refund I was never given a refund. I will not book through this agency again."

"The staff were fantastic, pool was a little cooler then we would have liked but it was clean and the area was well maintained which is very important to us. We loved the vibe of this hotel, you get the old historic classy feel here. The workout room was actually more impressive than we thought it would be with new equipment. The pillows were terrible. That's about the only complaint I have!"

"The shuttle was great. Jeff I will get you where you need. Emerald and Jeff were great when the pool was out of order. They shuttled us to a sister hotel. That sister hotel was rude, but great pool. "
