"Check in went smoothly, got to our room to discover we did not get our upgrade, the gentleman later was nice and gave us the upgrade, we wanted the upgrade as that's where the coffee was, however, if you want more then the two capsules they give you, they charge you! The room was fine, bar was nice, but amenities were terrible "

"Basic room but comfortable and clean. The plumbing needs looking at as the shower doesn't drain well. It does get a bit noisy, the marble and tiling carry the sound of people (and their dogs), and the walls are apparently quite thin. There is a nice bar downstairs and it is in a great central location."

"The property is in good conditions and it's located at the historic center. We chose it because it was recommended. But our experience was not good from the beginning. The access to the hotel was blocked and we were not informed in advance. We had to call the hotel after trying to get there for over an hour. Then they sent us written instructions through email. At least the instructions included pictures so we can follow them properly (the streets are very narrow with confusing signs). When we finally arrived, we had to leave the car at a nearby Plaza, walk to the hotel, do the check-in and leave our luggage. Nobody helped us with our luggage. Then they provided us with a QR code to get to the parking space. After that, we had to walk to the Hotel. I understand it's a historic building, located at a historic center but they should provide their guests with a better experience when arriving and leaving the hotel. Also they should at least have coffee available at 7:00 AM for the guests that need to leave early."

"This is a lovely, small hotel right next to Plaza Mayor; a superb location close to everything and walkable everywhere. The hosts, Rosa and Santiago are the nicest, warmest and most helpful people. A simple but satisfying breakfast to start the day. We will stay here again when we return to this amazing historic city."

Surprising perks, including embossed towels, Refrigerator with bottled water, fresh milk, butter, and jam, plus a breakfast spread with muffins, mini-donuts, and cafe con leche.
