The property and staff were fantastic. The only reason for a 4 star on the property condition is that they were presently doing some maintenance on the property but that didn't get in our way. The staff was excellent and friendly, gave us tips on where to go and provided a laundry service for us. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Incredible stay, location, staff etc

A really lovely stay here. The rooftop pool is wonderful and private away from the rooms. There’s no time restriction on when you can be there so it’s lovely to have a night swim if you like or early morning swim. Location is INCREDIBLE and so perfect for getting everywhere. It’s an intimate yet lovely vibe, with breakfast included being the best arepas we have had on our trip. The staff were like friends- letting us watch how to make arepas with the chef and talking us through how to have them in traditional ways. Overall such a good stay and a huge highlight. Thank you!!

A Boutique hotel right in the heart of the walled City. Staff were wonderful, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. While some were more fluent in English than others communication was never an issue, and their English was alway a great deal better than my Spanish. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, it wasn't a large buffet but an option of a North American or Colombian option. Always served with fresh fruit and a large glass of fresh squeezed Orange juice. Breakfast was always served around a large communal dining table. It gave an opportunity to interact with other guests. This was nice and intimate given the small number of rooms in the hotel. We enjoyed our week and would not hesitate to return to the Upper House.

The property was recently renovated. It looks absolutely beautiful. The pool area is very nice beautiful lounges very nice area. Perfect for families to stay perfect for honeymooners. Area surrounding it is very walkable very nice.

Su ubicación es excelente y céntrica en la ciudad amurallada. En una calle tranquila pero cerca de todo. Las instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento. No lo consideraría propiamente un hotel, es una casa grande con varias habitaciones, el personal es escaso un muchacho en recepción por cierto vale la pena decir que siempre con la mejor disposición. Sirven desayuno, la cocinera llega todas las mañanas. El desayuno lo sirven en una mesa ubicada en el patio central para todos los huéspedes. Las habitaciones son grandes , la camas cómodas pero se siente mucho olor a humedad. Para estancia cortas vale la pena por el precio y lo céntrico que esta, pero dista mucho de considerase un hotel como tal.

Localização e serviço bom, desde que no chova

Hotel com a localização perfeita, equipe muito solicita e confortável. Único pesar é num dia de tempestade, por o forro ser antigo, começou a chover no quarto e molhou meu carregador de celular, foi praticamente 1000 reais outro no site da Apple, falei com o pessoal e disseram que era a piscina que estava vazando.

Opinion excelente atencion pero falta mobiliario

Hotel muy bien ubicado dentro de la muralla de la ciudad de Cartagena, muy buena atencion de parte de los encargados, limpio en su estado general. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, dos personas con dos maletas y dos carry on no podiamos abrir. No hay espacio para guardar la ropa, no hay ninguna silla en la habitacion, hay una pared en el cuarto y en el baño que se cae la caliza. La caja de seguridad no esta asegurada a ningun lado, el desayuno es básico, buena fruta, cafe y huevo frito o revuelto con arepa o pan tostado (en terminos generales bien pero no hay variedad si te quedas varios dias) No me volveria a quedar alla, vi muchas otras opciones mejores.

The staff was friendly, the administrator Angel went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Carmen prepared a lovely breakfast. My only disappointment was that I reserved a deluxe room with a king size bed and upon arrival was given a small room with a queen bed. I had to sleep in the small room the first night. The following day I found out that their was a suit available with a king size bed and I was not offered it the first night. They preferred compromising my comfort instead of having a happy guest. Most unfortunate.

Buen lugar para pasar unos días

El personal fue genial. Nos ayudaron con todas nuestras inquietudes y siempre hicieron todo lo posible por hacernos sentir como en casa. La piscina y el area de la terraza si estaba un poco descuidada. Las habitaciones están un poco pequeñas pero el resto el hotel es un lujo. El desayuno fue de lo mejor.

La casa esta genial, limpia ordenada y muy bonita, estuvimos 3 días, lo unico que falto fue hacer limpieza 1 de los 3 días como minimo. no hicieron aseo adentro de la habitación en ningun momento. de resto todo genial.
