This property was amazing and staff was also. It is in a great location inside the wall and is in a quiet section at night. Me and my wife experienced one of our best vacations here and can’t wait to go back with friends.

Great house and service - good enough location

I enjoyed my stay at El Candil - its a very well-kept house with nice traditional decor, a beautiful courtyard pool and garden, and a great outdoor lounge/dining area. The service and breakfast were wonderful. WiFi was not reliable but I wasn't too bothered by that. Only downside about the house is that it's across the street from a night club -- Friday night wasn't terrible (I went to bed just fine at around 11:30pm) but Saturday night the music next door was on until 1-2am. This would've been great if I wasn't so tired and wanted to socialize (convenient location) but it could be irritating if you're trying to go to bed before midnight.

Hotel Ubicadísimo

El hotel Candíl de los Santos en Cartagena se encuentra extraordinariamente ubicado dentro de la ciudad amurallada, a tan solo unos pasos de la plaza San Diego donde hay restaurantes. Cuenta con una atención excepcional del management y un servicio amable del personal del hotel / cocina (desayuno incluido - rico y tipo casero- ) . Muy buena opción de hospedaje. Se presentó una situación que empañó un poco la estancia al presentarse una gotera a media noche causada por una tormenta (entiendo que son poco comunes pero se presentó) y ya fue reportada al management para que sea corregida para beneficio de los viajeros de esta cyber-comunidad. Tip para tu viaje a Cartagena... renta una bici o scooter para recorrerla ! Es súper divertido y está fácil de hacer.
