Perfect location in the center of old town. Stunningly decorated and furnished - felt both modern and distinctly Colombian. The staff were truly outstanding, offering generous and friendly help at every turn. The breakfast is included and delicious. The rooms were perfectly air conditioned and had black out curtains, offering a welcome reprieve from the sun after a long day out and about. The rooftop pool is small but luxurious and has incredible sunset views! We loved it here and will definitely be back!!

The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Sheik, the manager, was particularly kind and helpful. He assisted me in finding a boat for sailing and provided me with additional information.

We stayed at Hotel Casona del Colegio from July 9–14 and overall had a wonderful stay. This charming boutique hotel is beautifully decorated with lots of character. Our room with a private balcony and hot tub was spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect—within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, bars, and many attractions. Despite being in the heart of Cartagena, we slept very well. A few issues kept this from being a 5-star stay. I noticed two small roaches in our room and also during our last two days, there was no running water during the day, and for one full night. After spending our days on island tours, we returned hot and sandy but couldn’t shower for hours. We understand things happen, but better communication and some type of accommodation or discount would have been appreciated. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its beautiful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable location.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. As someone who knows limted spanish, I had no issues communicating with the staff or finding my way around. If you want to be right in the action of El Centro and still feel safe and secure, this is the place to stay.

Cet hôtel est une pépite ! Il s’agit de notre 2eme séjour tellement nous l’apprécions et nous sommes revenus en famille. Boutique hôtel, avec une magnifique décoration et un accueil très pro et attentionné. Mention spéciale pour le cocktail de bienvenue et le petit déjeuner exceptionnel. La Junior Suite est absolument magnifique avec sa hauteur sous plafond et son mur de briques. Une merveille. La petite piscine sur le rooftop est très agréable pour se détendre après une visite de Carthagène.

Everything was amazing! The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Anything we needed, they would handle it right away! The breakfast was really good. One of the employees Santiago was very informative and helpful when we first arrived. We arrived early before check in but he kept us updated when the rooms were going to be ready and helped taking our bags to our rooms. I do wish they had a laundry room. We were infront of the wedding venue and it was perfect because we were traveling with our toddler and it’s just crossing the street. This is going to be my preferred hotel when I go to Cartagena!
We were on the second floor. There are 3 floors. Good air conditioning in the rooms and rooms were very modern.

Great period property in the centre of Cartagena. Effiecient and knowledgeable employees. We only ate breakfast there but the restaurant was of a good standard. Big shout out to Stephanie who was super fríendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay.
