「Besides the poorly cleaned hotel, after the second day my AC went out in the room after a long day of work with temps over 100° and a horrendous smell of feces and backed up sewage rotting in these high temps. Management was notified and rather than offering another room, it was stated that I would have to wait for maintenance to arrive on site and attempt to fix the issue. 「Huge room so space to spread out. Conveniently located close to huge Albertsons and easy access to Carlsbad Caverns. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking is on the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Great option for staying in Carlsbad」

「We stayed here as our base for Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains NPs. The room was huge with two double beds and a sofa bed. There was a pool and fitness center and laundry. Super clean and new. It's on the northern side so you have to drive through Carlsbad (or around) to get to the parks. Breakfast and coffee included in the morning.」

「To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.」
