The sounds of a quiet country setting! Bliss!

We arrived at the most charming B&B on a peaceful setting right outside Carlisle Pa. Joanne and Bill could not have been more gracious hosts. Breakfast served with fresh homegrown produce and eggs. We cannot wait to return.

What a beautiful experience! This was our first time staying at a B & B and the owners, Bill and Joanne, made it wonderful! We were treated great from the moment we walked in their door. The room was clean and comfortable and Joanne made great breakfasts. An absolutely beautiful home and setting run my great people.

Very comfortable place to stay! The hosts went out of their way to assure that I had breakfast to take to my horse show with me. They made me feel cared about and that is a wonderful thing! I would definitely recommend this place.

Bill and Joanne epitomize what a great B&B is. They were so welcoming and such a joy to spend time with. The house was immaculate and the gardens were amazing. The location was perfect for us and was quiet and safe. We spent extra time with them before we left in the morning just talking like we were old friends. The breakfast that was provided was excellent and Bill makes an incredible server. Together they make a team that every one should try to emulate. We are planning to be back in the area in the fall and even if it doesn't work out that we can stay there we are going to try to stop by and visit for awhile. Delighted with our stay

The host couple, Joanne and Bill were very accommodating, friendly and professional. My wife and I enjoyed the stay and found the house to be in great shape. The cooking was outstanding and the support staff (Bill) are doing a great job! Do not hesitate to stay here.

Warm and welcoming bed and breakfast!

Billy and Joanne were amazing hosts and very welcoming of us into their home. Their place is spotless and Joanne’s breakfast is delicious. Bed was very comfortable and we felt very COVID safe because everything was so clean and they wore masks the whole time (per our request). Thank you for a great stay and we would definitely come back!

Jan and Dave's fabulous weekend.

As we arrived we actually passed the Inn so we turned around and outside was our host Bill waving to us showing us where to park. He helped with our luggage into the Inn where we met Joanne our hostess. Bill showed us to our nice size room upstairs. We had a queen size bed and a nice view to the garden area. We had plenty of storage for our things. A nice size bathroom was also in our room, so we had complete privacy. The house was basically like a farm house, in pristine condition and very clean. But even with the great accommodations our hosts is why we enjoyed our little trip. You'll never find more friendlier people. They were always attentive to our needs. Joanne made two fantastic breakfasts for us and asked beforehand what we liked or didn't like. Bill and Joanne wanted our stay to be perfect and it was. We hope someday we'll see them again..

Going to the Ref Cardinal is like visiting your favorite Aunt and Uncle’s house. Bill and Joanne have been doing this for a while and it shows. Joanne cooks up an unbelievable breakfast and both are great conversationalists. There goal is to make you feel like you are one of the family and I can say we truly felt that way. We had to visit Gettysburg College for our daughter’s XC meet which was only about 20 miles away.

Our stay at Billy and Joanne's was incredible. Everything from the warm welcome to the amazing breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. The only bit we didn't like was having to leave after such a short stay.

Peaceful, relaxing, and delicious

We very much enjoyed staying at the Red Cardinal B&B. The room was perfectly clean & spacious, and the house and hosts were warm and inviting. They catered to our request for vegetarian breakfasts, and we enjoyed all 3 meals that were prepared for us (all different!). The location was convenient, yet peaceful & relaxing. We enjoyed the Celtic Festival, hiking in the local state park, and exploring the area in general. We appreciate the efforts made to make us feel welcome. Thanks for the great food, conversation, & hospitality!
