「This hotel is such a hidden gem! It’s right by the ocean, and the restaurant is fantastic. For the price, the room condition is awesome—everything is clean and in perfect working order. The food is delicious, and the view of the ocean is simply breathtaking!」

「Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das Glück ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Strand Playa Negra liegt direkt gegenüber dem Grundstück. Pura vida.」

「Experiencia maravillosa, excelentisimo servicio, excelentes comidas y bebidas y muy buen precio para ser Costa Rica. Hermoso lugar, la playa maravillosa. Todo fabuloso, quizas el unico pero es que no tiene aire acondicionado y el ventilador de techo no es tan eficiente lo que hace que se tengan las ventanas abiertas y entran mosquitos. Fuera de eso SENSACIONAL, claro que volvería y lo recomendaría! Especialmente felicitacion a Angelo, Jessie, y Laurita que nos dieron un super servicio!!!!!」

「Beautiful resort style hotel in the middle of the jungle, yet close enough to restaurants in town and the beach. It has its own private parking lot. Lobby is very nice and sheltered from the rain. Staff communicates everything you need to know and is very friendly. The welcome drinks were a nice touch. The pool is beautiful and clean. The bar is spacious and it seems there is something for everyone, even the kiddos. Our double twin room was spacious and clean. I only wish it had a bedside...
