This location is the best place to stay if you’re looking to stay in the heart of historic Cardiff with close proximity to Cardiff Castle — you really can’t beat this location and it is a short walk from Cardiff Central that was manageable even with our two large suitcases. The room was super clean and the spacious considering typical hotel rooms are very compact. We had a king size bed with a room that faced St. Mary’s Street. Please be aware that if you enter from St Mary’s Street you’re actually entering on Floor 1 and reception is on Floor 2. You’ll need to take the stairs to the ground level to the lift that will then take you to the second floor. There is another lift from the second floor that takes you to the rooms. We didn’t try to English breakfast. There is a bar and lounge area on the second floor which were never busy. We would stay here again.

The staff was warm and friendly. The room and bathroom were large. The bed had 2 pillows per person. The location was excellent and the room so quiet.

We enjoyed our stay very much! It was wonderfully convenient! Right precisely where we needed to be! Furthermore, the staff was just lovely. A fantastic find for us, simply wonderful!

Nicely refurbished older hotel with good climate control, large room, hypoallergenic bedding, wood flooring and a nice shower ( no shower mat so it was slippery). Breakfast was good. Room cleaned daily.

In einem historischen Gebäude wurde hier mit Sinn und Verstand ein modernes Hotel integriert. Durch die versetzt eingebauten Aufzüge hat man hier sogar einen behindertenfreundlichen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Only 5 mins walk to Cardiff Castle. Ideally situated for shopping. Four flights of stairs up to reception lobby though so you need to be fit. Staff were polite and helpful. Glad of the aircon on a baking hot day.

The staff were fantastic and it's a great location if you're going to an event at Principality Stadium. The exterior clearly needs some cleanup, but my room was pretty nice.

Friendly staff nice accommodation. Our room was above a couple of bars and was really noisy at night & also in the mornings with deliveries. So not a great sleep

Clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. However, our aircon made an awful noise all night long. I did mention it to reception but do not know the outcome of there is one. Also we were not able to take our coffee outside which is something I do every morning.

Alarmed by all the busy pubs adjacent and expected to be struggling to sleep with all the noise below travelling up. Not a bit of it. Whisked up to Reception on second floor in a lot once in the building and then we had a room up top where we slept quietly very comfortably. Breakfast buffet was ample but could have been hotter. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Decor a little dated but room was spacious with good views out and it was clean and welcoming after a long day. Would be happy to recommend and to return.

The property location is great close to everything, a bit crowded on the outside, breakfast is nothing to write home about with the same menu every day, could be upgraded with more choices.
