This is definitely a unique property right in the center of town. It is quaint and nicely renovated. The light comes in the windows early; no curtains in our dormer windows. The shower is tiny as is the sink. But the staff is wonderful.

We had such a lovely welcome but there it ends apart from breakfast which was ok. Staircase carpet to room awful odour and dirty, that unfortunately increased when we entered room 301. Room and bathroom smell and cleanliness awful. No mattress or pillow protectors and just not clean. If you’re the owner sort out housekeeping, spend a bit of money on some deep cleaning, revamp breakfast menu and educate staff on basic cleaning (check the espresso machine) and you’ll be good to go.

Really nice pub to stay in - great room and really nice meals in the restaurant - great local stout on tap too - everything exceeded expectations and was just what we needed for our one night stay - cannot speak highly enough of this accommodation

,the location for visiting the world heritage centre of Blaenavon was good. The inn offered excellent meals. We were traveling without a car which made it a bit complicated to visit other sites. We did manage to visit Raglan Castle in Abervageny.
