The hotel is beautiful and the area around the hotel is also very pretty. The famous michelin restaurant was terrible, my food pigeon was really bad. Some other things were good, not for the price.

This hotel Is outstanding. The situation inside the Castle citeé in breathtaking and safe! Quietly luxurious with amazing staff. The cocktail bar is relaxing with talented bar staff. I enjoyed the vegetarian tasting menu in the Michelin restaurant- the service and food were exceptional - sad to leave but I will definitely return in 2026. Merci beaucoup x

Lovely hotel in excellent location within the walled city. Our room had a unbelievably beautiful view. Beds were a little firm for my friend and I; however, we just stayed one night, so that was no big deal. Priced a little high for what they offered. Sewage odors in room, no full-length mirror. I take tub baths; soap and shampoo were mounted for showers, so every time I needed soap I had to stand up. Double vanity sinks; but soap dispenser was only on one side, so person using farthest sink dripped all across vanity.

Gorgeous little pool in the old town.

What a gem. All the history, amazing location and a gorgeous little pool while staying in the old town, was a truly unique experience. Make sure you check out the display in the lounge of all the previous guests, including Churchill and Buster Keaton.

This is a phenomenal hotel and everything about it is five star. The staff go out of the way to make sure you have everything you need and nothing is too much for them. We ate at the Michelin starred restaurant and had the tasting menu which was fantastic. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable the next day and had a great experience. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic hotel! It's beautiful, the gardens and pool are lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large and airy, and the bed was very comfortable. Fantastic shower. Despite being next to the Basilica no noise got into the room, even when the bells rang! The food in La Barbacane was delicious. Excellent location, great as a base to explore Carcassonne on foot.
