"We chose the Granada Palace Hotel as it was in Monachil where we wanted to stay to visit family. On searching for a hotel this was the best one we found and was at a reasonable price. The hotel did not disappoint at all and was in a great location to visit family in Monachil and visit the sights of Granada. After being directed to our room we were amazed at how big it was, in all the trips we have been on (Carribbean/Thailand etc) this was one of the best rooms that we have stayed in, it was huge! We loved how big the bathroom was and all the space we had in the room to store our clothes and the little terrace where we could sit outside and take in the view of Monachil and the mountains. We were also given free bottles of water which was a lovely touch.
We paid for breakfast and this was also lovely, a great choice of hot and cold food. On our last day we were leaving for the airport at 7am and we had a picnic made up for us to take. We also enjoyed a meal at the Italian restaurant next door and with it being our Anniversary they did their best to make it special for us with several free drinks.
We sat by the pool area everyday, although the pool was a little too cold for me my husband braved it! It was nice to just sit on the sun loungers though. We also spent a couple of nights on the rooftop terrace, what an amazing view of Monachil!
It really was a 5 star hotel and we loved every minute of our break, we will definately return!"
