Very Poor service! First of all, we arrived and we weren’t met with a friendly greeting or a fresh bottle of water for that matter. They didn’t bother to give us any hotel info.. ie) pool, gym etc…The staff never greeted of when we walked by the lobby. We had a beautiful spacious room with a small terrace and loungers, but there was loud banging coming from the floor above us. We were really frustrated with the water pressure from the shower… it was literally trickling water…. I couldn’t get the shampoo out of my hair. I mentioned this issue to the front desk and the young man at the desk said he would leave a note for the manager..When we checked out they wanted they charges us for extra water, because we were only allowed 2 bottles per day .. so I mentioned the shower issue and the other person at the desk said that he didn’t see any note and told me to email the hotel about my issues… I did and have not received a response yet. Our breakfast was included with our room rate, but there wasn’t a great or fresh selection, and that was also lacking service. This type of treatment and service is not acceptable for Capri, at a beautiful and expensive hotel. It’s a shame because the property is beautiful. Our friends were staying close by at Minerva, and we went to visit for lunch and aperitif . We were met by the staff and owners with a very warm welcome, and we weren’t even their guests. This hotel lacked service and hospitality big time.. not acceptable for the price
