"Room and entire building was immaculately clean. Room was very spacious and well decorated. My room was a junior sweet and had nice amenities. I didn’t have time to enjoy the other hotel amenities other than the complementary breakfast which was excellent. Staff were very kind and helpful. Parking was different but not difficult. Just need to make sure you park on the right floor in the correct parking garage. The roof top area on the 11th floor was pretty cool but I only got to walk around it for a few minutes before checking out."

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Omni Shoreham and, even more so, with how the hotel handled my concerns afterward. From the moment I entered my room, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The room felt dirty and had an unpleasant smell that never went away during my stay. For a hotel that markets itself as an upscale property, the condition of the accommodations was unacceptable. It left me questioning whether basic housekeeping standards were being met. After my stay, I took the time to contact the hotel directly and provide detailed feedback. I received nothing more than a generic response apologizing for my experience. I was told that someone would follow up with me to resolve the matter, but that follow-up never happened. No attempt was made to make things right, address my concerns in a meaningful way, or demonstrate that guest satisfaction actually matters. I have been an Omni Select Guest member and have enjoyed previous stays with the brand, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I had another Omni stay already booked, but after seeing how little regard was given to my concerns, I canceled that trip. What upset me most wasn’t just the dirty, foul-smelling room—it was the complete lack of accountability afterward. Mistakes happen. Hotels have off days. But how a company responds says everything about how much it values its guests. In this case, Omni Shoreham made promises to “resolve” the issue and simply never follow"

"Our stay was wonderful, everything is so close that we wanted to see, the gym is 10/10, and the restaurant was wonderful, complements to the chef. The coffee shop was also delicious, I’d give it 4/5 stars. We had a small problem with our room, the front desk handled it well and made sure we were good. Valet parking was nice, it’s a consistent rate no matter if you get your car out 1 time or 100 times. $70/night was extreme but worth it to keep our vehicle safe (the parking garage is just for tempo and there is no self park)"

"I absolutely love the Salamander. For the past two years, every trip to the DMV area requires a stay there. I love the cleanliness of the rooms are comfort of the beds. For the most part, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, during my most recent stay I requested an amenity for my bath via the test messaging service and never received it. I’m not sure if this was a technology issue or if someone simply dropped the ball. Nevertheless, from now on I will call the front desk with any requests rather than utilize the text messaging service."
