This was, in the words of my friend, "a really good find and we need to back again but for longer" (we only stayed one night on this occasion).
The grounds and setting are beautiful and being in the cape wine lands there are plenty of places to go and see. Having a vehicle is a must but for those who havent been to SA before, the driving in the area is easy. It would help if you had a designated driver or teetotaler in your party but the staff will happily arrange a shuttle service for you. Alternatively, the grounds have good bbq facilities and depending on which rooms you have, there are facilities on site to make your own food.
The management are German and very friendly and nice but don't expect any UK DSTV channels (the SA satellite service). The limited TV channels are a negative for me but to be fair this isn't the sort of place you go to watch TV.
