Luxury close to the Waterfront
Our apartement was very spacious, well equiped and had a fantastic view to the working harbour with ships loading and unloading. We used the pool and enjoyed being able to walk along the paths in the area. The Waterfront is just a stones throw away. And the cruise port terminal and Pretoria station are only 5 minutes in a taxa.

Did not communicate different check in procedure even though hotel said they would email info. Short on hotel supplies, e.g. soap, coffee, tea, etc. Apartment was termed Luxury but soft furnishings were showing wear and faded.

Great stay . Apartment is in a very good location a short walk from the VandA waterfront where you find so much to do. It’s great value for money and has everything you need including kitchen , washing machine and dryer and daily servicing . Pool area a little small as is the pool . However as there is so many other things to take up your time you will not be spending much time there anyway . Great apartment , very comfortable . Reception is in the next apartment block but very easy to find . Staff are very helpful and a delight to deal with.

Right Price, Perfect Stay
The room is large enough for a family of 4. Everything is so good except an adapter for the wifi router was missing. Luckily I have my own. The bad thing is, the gate from V & A waterfront to the hotel closes everyday from 8pm - 6am. You must walk extra 800m to the CTICC after hour when you are not driving. Just be careful. View from the room to the dock is very little. Don't expect a nice sea view.

The property was near social amenities, i didnt like the beddings, the sheets are old and there qas no blanket, we had to rely on the AC the whole night to keep us warm.

This is a decent value for money in Cape Town. Even though the view was of a harbour with countless shipping containers, and the walkable path to the waterfront was painfully long due to a lack of accessible pathways and sidewalks from this property, the price was hard to argue with. If the price was much higher, we would likely have not reviewed this better than we have. Amenities are there, but lack much in the way of documentation and supplies. Outlets are in short supply for travellers who need to charge, there was no hair dryer, and lights were burning out it seemed daily. But the building is exceptionally secure, clean, and has enough to make any cost conscious traveller happy. We just wish they would build a darn walkway that goes towards the waterfront, instead of having to trek in the opposite direction, under a bridge for 10 extra minutes each time we wanted to go to the V&A.

Perfect location. Great accommodation.
The trip was fantastic. Location of the apartments was perfect as it was very close to the waterfront where all the good restaurants, shopping and bars are located. The city centre is also very close by. The water taxi from the apartments is fun and takes you right up,to the waterfront if you don’t want to use your car. The amenities in the apartment are great as well as the views from the balconies. Safe, secure ang good private parking. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone that would want to be located right near the waterfront and the CBD.

A beautifully designed apartment
We booked an apartment for four people. The accommodation was elegantly decorated and very spacious. We were unable to check in earlier as the apartment was not ready but we were able to leave our language at the reception. Finding the reception to check in was a bit of a challenge. It’s not the easiest place to find. The reception and the accommodation are situated in two different locations. Unfortunately, there was some sort of transport strike the day we arrived which consequently affected the delivery of the linen so we had to wait a bit for the linen. We had an issue with the keys to one of the bedrooms. The lock jammed and we were unable to unlock the door. My brother in law and nephew had to spend the night in lounge which wasn’t ideal. They were however able to resolve the issue fairly quickly the following day. It could definitely do with a welcome pack with some of the few basics. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. I would definitely book it again on my next visit.

Unbearable noise, give it a miss, rather.
If you intend to party 24 hours a day and never sleep, this place is for you. If you intend sleeping at some stage, give it a miss. During the day, construction starts at 7AM and during the night, the container yard is busy loading ships. The noise never stops. Trucks racing up and down, hooting as they come and go. You cannot even hear the TV over the noise.

Great Apartments - But Beware Building Noise
Cant fault these apartments but beware of the building noise! Apartment modern spacious & very clean. Huge comfortable bed, bath & separate shower. Kitchen has fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine. TV with satellite TV, sport channels & film channels inc English football Location is good, abut 10-15 minute walk to waterfront along the canal. They do close the canal off at around 7pm though which means you have to walk the longer way around, about 20-25 minutes. Would recommend doing this in the day for the first time so you are aware of which way to go, as you do get hassled by homeless/beggars at night If you walk the other way past the convention centre you are at the top of long street, if you walk down here (its quite a long street) there are a few restaurants and quite a few bars. The only drawback of these apartments is there are 2 building sites right next to them - which is now mentioned in the small print on the description if you read it, but wasn't when we booked and we really wished we'd been told in advance. Builders work 6am-6/7pm, and are VERY loud. Room doesn't have double glazing and we were shattered all holiday due to being woken up so early. If you go on the sun terrace (pool closed due to drought) you are practically sat with the builders they are so close and loud. Cant fault the apartments but unless you are either deaf or very heavy sleeper you will be tired all holiday.

Good location and great service.
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The area is near to the convention centre and a short walk from Long Street. There is also a boardwalk that goes straight to the V&A waterfront. If there was one thing we wish could be improved, was that we found it strange that the check-in with Home From Home was in a separate tiny office, away from the main lobby. Other than that, the service was great. Check-in and check-out were both really smooth.

A GOOD VALUE SPACIOUSPLACE IN A CENTRAL LOCATION
It was a very comfortable stay in a well maintained apartment in a central if somewhat isolated location. Loved the features in the apartment and the bed was comfy and huge very enjoyable bathroom and awesome kitchen space!!! I enjoyed the place very much - The decor of my apartment was distinctly more masculine and movie themed - worked for me, but maybe not everyone.

The apartments are in a great location, walking distance to the waterfront and shops/restaurants. We did however struggle with the noise from the building site next door as they worked all hours, you couldn't sit on the balcony or the roof terrace due to the dust and noise and it looks like the site will be there for a few years to come. Overall the apartments are great, clean and have everything u need apart from ear plugs!

Easy relaxed and comfortable
Very clean and well appointed apartment. Easy to navigate and safe secure parking. The apartment overlooks the docks which makes for lovely views. However the dock works around the clock so it can be noisy at night. There is a construction site right across the road where they are building a new apartment block, so the days are noisy too. But then Cape Town is amazing - so leave your very luxurious apartment and head for the sea and mountains. We were working so had good wifi and good position to travel to our meetings. Good for value and especially well located if you are at the conference centre. If you have a car it is a few minutes drive to the waterfront and beach. Had asked for two single beds in the second bedroom and was given one double. Will go again.

Great for Convention Center related Stay.
The hotel was great for my purpose which was for going to Jazz festival at Convention center. The rooms are clean and the services are some what acceptable. I just didn't like the curtains in the room (they don't block light), the fact that you can't communicate with the reception without having to walk there and that some employees do not follow on your requests ( I had a safe that did not open and had to almost loose a flight over that).

Wrong Impressions lead to disappointments
The hotel ads give a wrong impression about the location of the hotel. The check in offices are at quay side which overlooks a beautiful area and that's the picture used to advertise the hotel. The hotel is across and does not have a great location or view. I would not stay there again!!!

Convenient for the convention center. Comfortable and spacious apartment but the appliances were a bit dodgy. We had to get the service man to replace the fridge and could never get the dryer to work. View is of the dock yard and there are frequently large trucks and train going by just below the window. Short walk to V & A waterfront area where there are good shops and restaurants.

Great value and great location
My second visit. Persuaded two work colleagues to stay here too and they loved it as well. Great location, great space. Great to have a kitchen ... It is nice to eat normally when far from home. You can eat in the downstairs restaurant . Food purchases not on doorstep so arrive with some basics. Nearest place I found was in the waterfront . I had no car. Just a great home from home. I loved it.
