"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . "Property was more than I expected! Fantastic three bedroom apartment, clean and spacious! Hotel staff were super friendly and close by to the waterfront. Only drawback is that they could have had more variety for breakfast but would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Cape Town. Entirely family loved the hotel "

"The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived.
